So in today’s San Antonio Express-News, JP Morgan Chase ran an ad that attempts to make it sound like they are Texans. The headline: “Our Commitment To Lend Has Helped Texas Grow” just might have worked with two exceptions: the ad talks about the lending they did with Woodall Rodgers Park Project in DALLAS. And, how they helped Baylor University in WACO refinance their debt. The campaign is called The Way Forward. Here’s a thought… we live in SAN ANTONIO, Chase. How about giving us RELEVANT examples of what you do for us in SAN ANTONIO… not in Dallas or for some expensive, private university? The REAL way forward is to know that each market in Texas is different and you can’t paint us all with the same brush and think that will get us excited about doing business with you. But then, that is to be expected from folks that are based in New York City.
